Dr. Katrina Naik practices gastroenterology with a holistic approach to every patient. She believes in building a robust physician-patient relationship, focusing on shared goals and mutual trust. Above all, she wants her patients to feel heard and well-cared for. She applies her experience in the behavioral and medical sciences to target daily routines and GI symptoms to deliver measurable improvement in a patient’s overall well-being. 

Dr. Naik completed her undergraduate training at Arizona State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors. Her interest in the biological basis of behavior began with her undergraduate research in behavioral sciences. She attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she applied her experience in behavioral neuroscience to evaluate the effects of medications on the GI tract. It was during these years that she developed a deep interest in gastroenterology and the impact of GI pathophysiology on a patient’s quality of life. As a result, Dr. Naik was very productive in her contributions to gastroenterological research.

Dr. Naik’s commitment to high-quality patient care was recognized by her induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed internal medicine training at George Washington University, then moved to Las Vegas for her gastroenterology fellowship training at UNLV. Upon graduation, she and her husband agreed they felt most at peace in the desert landscape, and she is now happy to call Las Vegas home. 

 Dr. Naik is proud to work alongside experienced and compassionate colleagues at Gastroenterology Associates. She believes wholeheartedly that the physicians and staff of this center are providing only the highest quality of care for the patients of Las Vegas. In her spare time, Dr. Naik enjoys exploring national parks with her family.
